I'm not just a real estate agent — I'm a business owner and investor who genuinely loves this industry. Everything I've built over the years has made me a better advocate for my clients, and I bring that perspective to every single deal.
How it all came together
Real estate has been part of my life for a long time — but it didn't start with a license. It started with building something. My husband Marc and I founded MAK Construction, and from there, everything else grew organically. We built spec and custom homes, invested in land and developments, and eventually designed and built Thames Court and Thames Crossing — projects we're really proud of.
In between all of that, we started acquiring commercial properties and I launched CK Agency, my property management company, where I managed both residential and commercial properties. Running that business taught me more about real estate than any course ever could — I learned what owners actually need, what tenants actually want, and what makes an investment worth protecting.

More recently, Marc and I expanded into Arizona — first with a short-term rental property in Scottsdale, and then a full flip that we took from acquisition through renovation to sale. It's been a natural extension of everything we've built, and it's opened up a whole new way I can help clients who are curious about investing out of state.
Through all of it — the businesses, the builds, the properties across two states — I've been a mom of three. Life is full, and I wouldn't have it any other way. That's actually part of what I bring to this work: I understand that real estate decisions don't happen in a vacuum. They happen in the middle of real life.

MAK Construction — spec & custom homes
Marc and I founded MAK Construction and began building spec and custom homes in the Grand Forks area, growing the business from the ground up.
Land, development & Thames Court
We expanded into land investment and development, ultimately designing and building Thames Court and Thames Crossing — projects that represent some of our best work.
Commercial property ownership
Alongside the construction work, we began acquiring commercial properties — building a portfolio of assets we managed and operated ourselves.
Founded my property management company
I launched CK Agency to professionally manage our residential and commercial holdings — and eventually took on properties for other owners as well.
Short-term rental in Scottsdale
We purchased our first Arizona property and began operating it as a short-term rental — getting to know the Scottsdale market from the inside.
Scottsdale flip — full renovation
We completed a full flip in Scottsdale, managing every phase of the renovation. It brought everything together — construction knowledge, investment strategy, and market expertise.
